CANON MX920 PRINTER WIFI SETUP
Canon PIXMA MX410 is an all-in-one printer designed for home/office printing, scanning, copying, and faxing needs. This printer comes with a fully integrated ADF. It offers cool features like borderless photo printing, template printing, 4-in-1/2-in-1 copying, borderless copying, Auto Scan Mode, Network Scan, Scan to memory, and more.
It is easy to set up and use. However, its printing speed is not satisfactory. The following section will guide you in setting up your Canon PIXMA MX410 printer over a wireless network.
Window Users:
- Double-click on the downloaded file and click Start Setup.
- Select your region and country; click Next.
- Read the License Agreement and click Yes.
- If you wish to participate in the extended survey program, click Agree.
- Otherwise, click Do not agree.
- Tick on Deactivate the block and click Next.
- Select Wireless LAN Connection and click Next.
- Ensure your printer is on and click Next.
- The software will detect the printer.
- Select your printer from the list and click Next to continue with the software installation.
- The printer driver will install and register on your computer.
- Click Execute on the computer and start the Print Head Alignment on your printer.
- After the Print head alignment is completed, click Next.
- Click Execute to perform the Test print.
- Once done, click Next.
- The setup for your printer is now complete.
Mac users:
- Double-click on the downloaded file.
- Again, double-click on the Setup icon to start the setup and click Open.
- Type Username and Password and click InstallHelper.
- On the Canon MX920 series screen, click StartSetup.
- Select your region and country and click Next.
- Read the terms of the license agreement and click Yes.
- If you wish to participate in an extended survey program, click Agree.
- Otherwise, click Do not agree.
- If your printer is already connected, click yes.
- If your Canon MX920 printer is not connected, select the Wireless LAN Connection and click Next.
- If your printer is powered ON, click Next.
- If your printer is connected to the computer, click Next.
- The printer driver will now install on your computer.
- Click Allow after the laptop is reconnected to your wireless network.
- Click Add Printer.
- Select Canon MX920 printer from the list and click Add.
- Once the printer is added, click Next.
- Click Execute on the computer and start the Print Head Alignment process on your printer.
- After the Print head alignment is completed, click Next.
- Click Execute to perform the Test print.
- Once done, click Next.
- The Wi-Fi setup for Canon MX920 is now complete.
WPS connection method:
Before starting, make sure that your router has a WPS push button.
- On your printer, press the Wireless button until the second light flashes.
- Now, press the Color button and touch the Wireless button again until the fourth light flashes.
- On the wireless router, press the WPS button.
- The power and Wi-Fi light will flash when connecting to the access point.
- After the successful connection, the power and Wi-Fi light stop flashing and remains lit.
Wireless Network Settings Confirmation:
To check whether the printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
- Make sure that your printer is turned on.
- Check whether the paper is loaded and cartridges are installed.
- Touch the Wi-Fi button until the lamp flashes.
- Now, press the color button.
- Touch the Wi-Fi button twice.
- Press the color or black button to start printing.
