Canon PIXMA MG3620 is an All-in-One wireless printer that comes with excellent features, such as auto duplex printing and mobile device printing. Sometimes, your Canon printer will not print due to connectivity issues, unwanted print jobs, etc. By following the below instructions, you can solve this issue.
ENSURE THE CONNECTIVITY
First, check whether the power cord is connected properly to the printer's rear and the other end is plugged into the electrical outlet.
Make sure to turn on your printer.
If you connect your printer and computer using a USB cable, ensure that the cable is connected correctly. In case of any problem with the USB cable, replace it with a new one.
If you have connected the devices using a Wi-Fi network, check whether the printer and your computer are on the same network.
Now, check whether your printer is printing properly.
If the issue continues, follow the below instructions.
RESTART THE PRINT SPOOLER
Select the Start menu on your Windows computer and type “services” in the search box at the bottom of the window.
Next, choose the Services option from the search result.
Right-click on the Print Spooler option in the right menu panel.
Click on the Stop option.
Now, navigate to the respective print spooler folder on your computer.
Choose all the files from the printer’s folder and press the Delete key (on your keyboard).
Return to the Services window, right-click on the Print Spooler option, and select the Start option.
If the issue persists, perform the following method.
DELETE THE UNWANTED PRINT JOBS
First, you need to launch the printer software on your computer.
Next, click on the Display Print Queue button at the bottom of the window.
Now, all the print jobs assigned to your printer will pop up on the screen.
Select Cancel All Documents under the Printer tab.
When you see the confirmation message in the window, click on the Yes button. This action will delete all the print jobs assigned to your Canon printer.
Now, ensure to check whether the printer is printing properly.
If it does not work, perform the below steps.
CHECK THE PORT SETTINGS
First, restart your computer.
Now, power off the printer and the wireless router.
Wait for some time and turn on your printer and the wireless router.
Make sure to connect your printer and computer to the same network.
Next, open the Control Panel window on your computer.
Choose the Devices and Printers option from the list.
Right-click on your printer and choose the Properties option from the drop-down list.
Here, select the Ports tab and check all the port settings. In case you have to make any changes to these settings, you can do it now.
UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL THE PRINTER DRIVER
Select the Start button on the computer’s main screen.
Now, search for the Control Panel option in the search bar.
Click on the Control Panel option from the search result and select the Programs option.
In the next window, click on the Programs & Features option.
Now, select the Canon PIXMA MG3620 printer driver from the list and right-click it.
Choose the Uninstall option from the menu.
Now, click again on the Uninstall option in the confirmation dialog box.
After uninstalling the printer driver from the computer, reinstall it using the software CD, or visit the printer’s official support page.
