Unboxing and Initial Setup:

  • Take out the printer from the box.
  • Remove the packing material from your printer and all the included items.
  • Connect one end of the power cord to the printer and the other to the electrical wall outlet.
  • Touch the ON button to turn on the printer.
  • Open the output tray and tap OK on the printer control panel to start the setup.
  • Select your preferred language and tap OK.

Installing the ink tank:

  • Raise the front cover.
  • Grab the ink tanks and remove the packaging tapes.

Note: Do not touch the nozzle.

  • Insert the black ink tank into the first slot.
  • Insert the grey ink tank into the second slot.
  • Insert the yellow ink tank into the third slot.
  • Insert the pigment black ink tank into the fourth slot.
  • Insert the cyan ink tank into the fifth slot.
  • Insert the magenta ink tank into the sixth slot.
  • Push each cartridge until it fits in its place.
  • If the orange light blinks, it indicates that the ink tanks are perfectly installed.
  • Close the cover.

Loading the paper:

  • Drag the paper tray out completely from the printer.
  • Move the paper width guides towards the right.
  • Take plain paper and fan the sheets.
  • Load the fanned sheets into the tray and adjust the paper width guides accordingly.
  • Reinsert the paper tray into the printer.
  • On your printer control panel, click the OK button to print the printhead alignment page.
  • Follow the instructions and complete the installation.

Downloading the printer driver:

  • Go to Canon PIXMA MG7520's official website.
  • Click on the Drivers and Downloads option.
  • Choose Windows from the Operating System drop-down menu and select Language.
  • Choose the required driver and click Download.

Installing the printer driver:

  • Double-click on the downloaded file; a Canon screen will appear.
  • Click on Start Setup.
  • Select Country or Region and click Next.
  • Accept the End User License Agreement.
  • Choose Agree or Do not agree to the Extended Survey Program.
  • Click Next on the Firewall Settings screen.
  • In the Connection Window, choose Wired or Wireless connection and click Next.
  • On the Connection completed screen, click Next.
  • Click Next on the Setup Complete screen.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the driver installation process.
