How to Setup Canon PIXMA MG3620 Printer

Basic Printer Unboxing:

• Open the box and take the Canon PIXMA MG3620 printer out of the box.
• Now, take the Fine cartridges, power cord, Setup CD-ROM, and other documents from the box.
• Place the Canon PIXMA MG3620 printer on a flat surface.
• Remove the outer plastic cover from the printer.
• Turn the printer over. Remove the orange tape and all the protective material from the rear end.
• Place the printer in its original position. Now, open the front cover and remove the orange tape and the protective material.
• Close the front cover.
• Now, connect one end of the power cord to the Canon PIXMA MG3620 printer and the other end to the electrical socket.
• Next, you need to press the Power button to turn ON the printer.

How to install Fine Ink Cartridges:

• Open the front cover.
• Open the cartridge access door.
• Now, remove one of the Fine cartridges from the package and remove the protective tape.
• Insert the Fine cartridge into the cartridge holder. Make sure that the cartridge locks into place.
• Repeat the above steps for the other cartridges.
• Once the installation is done, close the cartridge access door, followed by the front cover.

Steps to Load Paper:

• Open the front cover and pull the paper support.
• Slide the paper guides to the edge.
• Pull the paper tray from the printer.
• Load a paper stack with the printing side face down and adjust the paper guides to hold the paper stack.
• Now, push the paper tray back into the printer.
• Open the output tray extensions.
• Finally, open the paper output tray and extend the paper output support.

Software download:

• The setup CD-ROM has the driver for the Windows computer; if you don’t have the setup CD-ROM, download the driver from the official Canon support website.
• Once the download is complete, run the setup file on your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the software installation on the Windows computer.
